Looking Out. Looking In.
For me, writing is the path of looking for answers to questions you didn’t know you had. It is a process of entering rooms, walking through fields, climbing stairs, looking through windows. Images are committed into memories. Feelings are honed into the walls of one’s heart.
After much is gathered, much is inspected, and silence has had a chance to settle the words into a straight line; the writing begins.
